10 Sweater Dresses You Need This Season

Happy Thursday friends! I hope everyone’s week has been good so far! It’s been super busy for me with work, but I’m super happy because today is my Friday! I’m heading to Beaumont for the weekend to see Jordan and my family so I’m happy to have an extra day since last weekend was so rushed with the storm and clean-up.

Today I wanted to share one of my favorite fashion pieces for this time of year… Sweater dresses! I love sweater dresses because you get the look and feel of fall, but you aren’t sweating to death in pants, a top, a jacket and a scarf. To me, it’s so easy to dress warmer or cooler in a sweater dress since you can add high boots or tights to cover your legs more or just wear booties and cuffed sleeves if it’s still warm out. I got this little sweater dress the other day from Mint Julep Boutique and I could not be happier with it!

If you know me, you know that emerald green is one of my all-time favorite colors so right off the bat I was attracted to this dress. It’s so soft and cozy as well, as soon as I took these pictures, I immediately wanted to keep it on the rest of the day, simply to lounge around in it since it’s so comfortable! I paired it this time with my tan, suede knee-high boots that are super comfortable and go with nearly everything during fall. I also added my wool fedora hat that I bought at Nordstrom last year and wore so much. It actually just recently got restocked so I can finally share it again!

This dress also comes in two other colors if green isn’t for you! It comes in a deep purple color and also a red, both of which are perfect in my opinion for the fall months. I also found a few other options I’ve linked below for sweater dresses that are cute, cozy and perfect to wear this season. You can dress them up or dress them down to make them perfect for whatever event you have going on.
