Happy Tuesday lovelies! I hope everyone had a great weekend and a wonderful start to their week!
Today, I wanted to share a fun little recipe since I haven’t shared one in a while. Jordan and I have been trying to cut calories and eat healthier lately (perfect timing since it’s my bday week, right?? haha). One way we’ve been doing this is cutting out alcohol and wine during the week to try and reduce the number of calories we drink rather than eat. On the weekends, we’ll either split a bottle of wine and make sure we stop after that, or we’ll make low calorie cocktails to go with dinner on Saturday night!
Today I wanted to share a low calorie happy hour drink I’ve been making lately that’s so easy to make and tastes yummy. It also only has XXX calories and low sugar, which compared to a normal cocktail, is a whole lot less!
Ingredients:
2 shots Tito’s Handmade Vodka
2 shots Diet cranberry juice
1 Lime (cut in half; 1/2 squeezed and 1/2 sliced for garnish)
1 can Sprite Zero
*Lime salt for garnish around glass rim (optional)
What to Do:
- Add vodka, diet cranberry juice and freshly squeezed lime juice to a shaker with ice.
- Shake for 30 seconds, then pour into a martini glass with a lime-salted rim (optional).
- Add a splash of Sprite Zero to the top of the martini for a few bubbles and you’re set!
There you have it! I love having this as an easy, low calorie happy hour drink when we’re hanging out at the house. It’s also perfect going into summer since it’s really light and refreshing with the lime juice and cranberry juice!
Let me know in the comments if you’re able to give this a try for yourself! Also feel free to tag me on Instagram if you make it so I can share your bartending skills on my Insta stories! ๐

I love a good happy hour drink. Especially when it doesn’t call for too many ingredients. ๐
