Happy Friday loves! This week has FLOWN by, I’m not sure if it’s because we had Monday off or if I was just super busy, but either way I’m certainly not complaining!
First off, I wanted to say I’m soooo sorry it’s been a HOT minute since I’ve published a new post. Life has been crazy busy with work, other collabs, and honestly just in general haha. I honestly hadn’t even realized I missed writing a post last week until I pulled up my scheduling calendar this week! CRAZY folks. CRAZY. Anyways, as always thanks for being patient with me and following along! You guys are the REAL MVPs. ♡
Okay now for today’s post, as you know, I’ve been in the process of transitioning my closet from summer to fall and sharing little ways in which I do this. I like to include tips on how to look cute and on-trend for the fall months, even though (if you live in Texas) it’s still in the 90+ degrees. Today I thought I would share a super easy way to change a look from summer to fall… Knee-high boots!
I love knee-high boots because you can wear them with practically anything… Shorts, skirts, jeans, dresses, etc. They’re so versatile and a great staple item to have in your fall wardrobe! Plus, they are super comfortable to wear and walk around in (at least the ones that I buy)!
Style #1: With a Skirt
I love wearing knee-high boots with skirts, because it’s such an easy way to dress up a casual outfit! I also love that you can wear an outfit like this when it’s still warm outside and you aren’t dying in the heat.

Style #2: With Shorts
This is another casual kind of look that can easily be dressed up with knee-high boots. I’ll wear this kind of look both on a Saturday, when I’m going around visiting family, as well as out to dinner with J or some friends! It’s a really versatile look and I love how you can style it in so many different ways.

Style #3: With a Dress
I wanted to include both of these pics because one is super casual and was something I wore around on the weekend when I was visiting friends and family, and the other is a dressier look that can be worn if you’re going out to an event or more upscale gathering. Wearing knee-high boots with dresses is so cute and I love the feel it gives an outfit. (I normally will only wear knee-high boots with dresses that come above my knee! So I wouldn’t probably wear it with a maxi or midi type of dress.)

Style #4: With Jeans
This kind of look is super classic with knee-high boots so it’s so easy to put together! I’ll wear this kind of look with knee-high boots and jeans when November and December rolls around and it finally starts to get cold here in TX. I’ll also wear it into January and February too since it can be easily transitioned from fall to winter and it keeps you looking cute and also warm!

Tall boots are my favorite things for fall! Loved this post xo Jaimie
I have short legs, so I actually don’t own any knee high boots, but this post makes me want to go out and buy a pair, they look so amazing on you (and everyone else I see wearing them, they’re such a closet staple!)! I think I’m going to take the plunge and order some soon! Thanks for the great recommendations!
My favorite! I love my Stuart OTK boots, and I’m so excited for cooler temperatures so I can really rock them!
