5 Memorial Day Outfit Ideas

Hey lovelies! I hope everyone is having a great day so far this morning. Today I wanted to share some outfit inspo for the next holiday coming up… Memorial Day!

I love shopping for outfits for Memorial Day because there are just SO many different outfit types you can choose from. Some years I’ve gone super casual with a crop top and high waisted shorts if we’re spending the day at the beach or by the pool. Other years I’ll go completely opposite with a dress, wedges and my hair done and curled. It honestly just depends on what we have going on I feel like and I love that flexibility to dress to my own level of comfort.

Red and White Crop Top & Shorts

Simple outfits like this are one of my fave kinds! This is probably what I would normally be found wearing on a weekend in the summer months. I nearly always have shorts and either a crop top or a tank on in the summer because it’s so dang hot in TX! I love a good outfit like this, especially for around Memorial Day, because it’s festive, cute and will keep me cool all day no matter what my plans are.

USA Cropped Tee, Shorts & Bandana

This was one of my favorite summer tops last year! I actually lost it during the move I think so I just ordered another one for this year haha. This was actually my exact outfit look for Memorial Day last year. We went to the beach and I got so many compliments on this top! If you have a beach day, pool day, etc planned where you’ll be outside and constantly be kicking off your shoes and just want to be comfortable, this is the perfect outfit in my opinion!

White Flowy Romper

This romper (yes, it’s a ROMPER, not a dress!) is still one of my favorite summer items in my closet! I love the flowy nature of it and since it IS a romper, you don’t have to worry about it flying up haha. It’s super cute and can be dressed up like in this pic with heels, or dressed down with some cute sandals and a denim jacket.

Blue on Blue

This is another casual Memorial Day outfit that I think would be adorable! I love blue on blue and this is such a cute combo with the blue and white striped top (that combo always reminds me of summer time!), denim shorts and white kicks. This is a really simple look, but if you’re going to be hanging around the house having a chill Memorial Day and just want to be in the festive spirit, this is the perfect outfit to do so!

Okay and lastly, this romper (again, that’s right! Romper, not a dress!) was one of my favorites from last summer. I wore it for so many different occasions and it was always a success. I think it looks really summery and bright and is another one of those that can be dressed up or dressed down. I dressed it up here with heels, but you could also pair it with sandals and a high ponytail and it would be super cute too and more of a casually-styled look.
