Happy Wednesday friends!
So far, this week has been insanely busy! I feel like I’ve done a week’s worth of stuff and it’s only Wednesday! But it has also been super productive and busy days make the week pass more quickly (or so it seems) so I suppose I can’t complain too much.
Today, I wanted to share a blog post highlighting some great options for fall accessories that I have been wearing and also keeping my eyes on for a while now. Let me preface this post by saying that I am someone who loves designer items. I grew up watching Sex and the City with Carrie and her friends and fell in love at a young age with Prada, Dior, Louis Vuitton, you name it.
However, as I grew up (and started paying for my own life, bills, etc) I quickly realized that having 42 pairs of $600 shoes stacked up in my closet was a little less achievable than I had once thought. So, as many young fashionistas do who also have bills to pay, food to buy, and cats to feed, I learned about the wonderful world of dupes.
Designer dupes are some of my favorite things to buy because they look fabulous and fashionable, yet the cost a fraction of the real thing! Some designer dupes are better than others, so it’s important to really look around and find the best dupe you can.
I look at two things when choosing a designer dupe — price and how closely it resembles the real thing. When I look at price, I keep in mind that it needs to be affordable since afterall, it’s a dupe. You don’t want to pay an expensive price for a dupe or else you might as well just spend a little more on the real thing. So keeping price within a reasonable realm is important. Next, I keep in mind that I want it to look as close to the real thing as possible. This (at least for me) means I want it to look and feel like the real designer item. Therefore, I make sure to take note of the material as well as key differences that I can notice between the dupe and the real designer thing. Normally, dupes will have small differences, but if you find a good dupe, it will be hidden well and will still closely resemble the designer item.
So with that being said, today I wanted to share 8 designer dupes I found that are good quality and worth purchasing if you are like me and like designer items, but not the extravagant price tag.

I have a ton of dupes (many of these, to be specific!) and I absolutely love them. I feel fabulous when I wear them and I can wear them knowing my pocketbook isn’t hurting! One day I might be able to purchase a designer item, but until then I’m perfectly fine sticking with my dupes.
Thanks for reading friends! Xx.
