Hi friends! I hope everyone had a great start to their week. I looked at the calendar yesterday when I got to work and couldn’t hardly believe it’s the week before Thanksgiving! Compared to the rest of this year, I feel like this fall season has just FLOWN by and the holidays are nearly here!
With the holidays quickly approaching (both Thanksgiving AND Christmas), I thought it would be helpful to share a few of my favorite wines to bring when I’m going to a holiday gathering at someone’s house. I know there might be far less holiday gatherings this year, due to COVID, however if you still plan to go to a close friend or family member’s house to safely visit and gather together, then here are a few of my personal favorite wines to bring as a hostess gift.
- Chloe Pinot Grigio
- Ménage à Trois Red Blend
- Kris Pinot Grigio
- Chloe Cabernet Sauvignon
- Francis Coppola Diamond Claret Cabernet Sauvignon
- 19 Crimes Red Blend
- Prismus Pinot Grigio (Winc Wine)
- Ace in the Hole Cabernet Sauvignon (Winc Wine)
- Apothic White Blend
I love reds and whites that are a bit drier, rather than sweet. I tend to favor Red Blends or Cabs when we have red wine and Pinot Grigios and Chenin Blancs when we have whites. These are all wines I’ve personally tried and loved enough to feel comfortable recommending them!
If you’re on the hosting side of a holiday gathering and are looking for some good, quality wine glasses or things to go along with wine at dinner, I would recommend these Williams Sonoma wine glasses. We save them and use them for when we have guests over, as they are a bit delicate and higher quality and we always get so many compliments on them! I would also recommend snagging this Electric Wine Opener. I got this a few years ago from Target for $20 and it has been a GAME CHANGER. It comes with a cutter to easily cut the top seal off the wine and then you just push the down arrow for about 5 seconds to insert the corkscrew into the cork and then it pops out! It’s WAY easier than using a regular corkscrew and this will last you years.
I also wanted to share my Winc Wine link again, in case you’ve missed it when I’ve shared it before! This LINK will give you 40% off your first order of wine from Winc, plus free shipping!
I honestly loveeee to have a glass of wine with dinner, especially when we visit with people or have dinner. It’s also just such a classy thing to bring to someone’s house I feel like and it’s something most people like to have when they gather.
I hope you all enjoy these recommendations! Let me know in the comments below if you get to try any of these, or if you already have tried some, and what you think about them! Also, I’d love to know if you have a favorite kind of wine that’s different than one of these! Jordan and I are always looking to try out new kinds of wines either for dinner or date nights.

OOO i love this fun guide! So many wines I hadn;t heard of and now need to try!
I absolutely love a good Ménage à Trois or 19 Crimes Red Blend. Those are just some of the best wines. I usually opt for reds over whites. They’re my favorite and usually a crowd-pleaser at holiday parties! Great suggestions here!
I don’t drink but I know plenty of people who love their glass of wine so it’s nice to have suggestions. Thanks for sharing! xoxo, Sarah
Yes to all of these! Its not a social event without wine, am I right!?
These all sound so good! I am adding them to my list to purchase!
xoxo,
Kim

I have tried the reds you shared, they are SO good!
