Happy Tuesday friends! I hope everyone’s week has been a good one so far! I had a busy day yesterday so it FLEW by, which I was super thankful for. I 100% prefer busy days to slow days because they always seem to pass by so quickly!
Today I thought I would share how we decorated our dining room table for fall. I always love festive fall table decor and this year, I wanted to go with more of a traditional theme, rather than what I did last year (if you missed our fall decor last year, check it out in the post How I Decorated My Apartment for Fall). I loved the buffalo check print fall table decor we went with last year, but this year I wanted to go traditional with lots of orange hues and pumpkins galore!
I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do with the table when we were decorating for fall, but we ended up going to the pumpkin patch a couple weekends back and when I saw all the pumpkins there, I just KNEW that was what I wanted to do! So I picked up a TON of pumpkins for the house! I wanted them inside, outside, on tables, in corners, everywhere heehee. I ended up getting some for the dining room table too, just to see how they would look and I could NOT have been happier with how it all turned out!
I’ve also always loved having a central focal point to a table. I found this wood slice on Etsy that adds such a rustic touch and can be used for multiple seasons! I also found the table runner on Etsy and loved that these were so customizable. I bought one that is 12 inches wide and 48 inches long. Now, I wish I would have bought one that was a little longer, but overall I like the way it looks on the table. Plus, this works for multiple seasons too! I’ve used it for spring, summer and fall now and it’s worked with all of my decor! I’ll probably change it up for Christmas, but one single table runner for three seasons?? I’ll definitely take that haha!
Next, I added a little black lantern with a fall-scented tea light to the centerpiece. Next, I added a flower vase with some fall flowers we picked up from the store and then added some mini pumpkins around to fill in the empty spots on the centerpiece. You can also fill the vase with faux fall flowers too, if you want to make it even easier! (I would recommend buying two of the faux flower bundles to really make sure you fill the vase!) Lastly, I added the pumpkins we picked up from the pumpkin patch! I bought some of all different shapes and sizes, as well as some gourds to throw into the mix as well. I think it all came together really well and I love the way all of our fall table decor turned out!
I hope you all get to enjoy decorating your own tables for fall! I’ll link everything down below in a shop widget so you guys can easily see everything! I would recommend getting pumpkins from a local pumpkin patch, if you can find one! If not, you can always grab some from most grocery stores.
Thanks for reading lovelies! Until the next post, Xx.
