Hello lovelies! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far and is looking forward to the weekend! Even though we’re just staying in on the weekends now, which is pretty much how our weeks are as well, I still look forward to the weekends! A weekend staying in at home is still a weekend, if you ask me.
So for today’s post, I wanted to [finally] get around to sharing our bedroom and bath reveal! I know I had actually promised to have this out no later than the end of last week, but I had a few more things due to come in from Amazon early last week that were delayed due to everything going on, so I wanted to wait until I had those things in to share the full reveal. But now that everything is in and set up, I’m happy to finally be able to share how we set up and decorated our bedroom and bathroom!
J and I wanted to get new furniture together since this is our first official place together. We planned a lot of it beforehand and already had it saved for and picked out when we first moved up here, which is why we were able to get so much done so fast! We are both soooo happy with how everything turned out and I’ve been dying to show you guys, so I’m happy to finally open the door and start to give you guys a glance at our little home. I also am only revealing our bedroom and bathroom today because quite honestly, that’s all we have completely finished haha!
All of the main furniture pieces are from Wayfair – the bed frame, dresser, nightstands, and lamps. We are still planning to change out the full-size mirror in here to one that goes more with the color scheme, but it’s lower down on the list of priorities, at least right now.
When I was looking online for the furniture, I knew I wanted furniture and pieces that would work with both of our styles. We both love dark wood, but I didn’t want all of the pieces to be completely dark, as I thought it would make the room look too dark. So I decided to go with both light and dark wood, with the dark wood being more of the accent color that kind of pops out against the lighter colors.
I also wanted a neutral color bedspread so I could play around with fun accent and throw pillows. Not to mention I just feel like plain bedspreads are more both of our styles and don’t go out of style so quickly.
We also wanted a big enough dresser to fit both of our clothes… Well. Turns out we both have a pretty good amount of clothes that we needed to go in the dresser haha. So we got the biggest one we could find that went with the bedroom suit we wanted and then ended up putting our off-season clothes in the other dresser we had in the guest room.
I loved the look of this one and I also love how sturdy it is. You can tell that all of these pieces are really good quality and are solid pieces of furniture that will last a long time. I love how everything ties together and how the room just looks relaxing and homey.
Now finally for the bathroom. Our master bath is a little smaller than I think we wanted in this townhouse, especially since our bathroom at the last place was really spacious. But I think we’ve done a really good job with making do with the space we have and I’m happy with how it’s turned out!
The cabinets are brown in the bathroom, so we continued the theme of browns and cream colors from our bedroom into the bathroom so that everything kind of flowed together. We got everything from Amazon and Wayfair (the two holy grails for home decor, IMO) and couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out.
So that’s our bedroom and bathroom reveal friends! I know I shared some of our room already, but I wanted to do a full official reveal here on the blog so I could link everything together in one place. I hope you guys enjoyed seeing everything too and thanks for reading!
If I forgot to link anything or if you have any questions about anything, feel free to comment or shoot me an email on my Contact page and I’ll get back to you! Until next post friends, Xx.

This is such a beautiful space. I absolutely love the rustic touches – and how the entire style even translates into the bathroom. I have reign when it comes to most of my home, but the master bathroom and my husband’s office are his domain haha.
You did a great job here! I particularly like the headboard on the bed and the table side lamp. A peaceful spot for rest and rejuvenation! Xo
It turned out so well- that “nice butt” tray is too funny!
I love these neutral spaces – so calming!
