It’s Friday!! We made it folks! This has been my first week back to work and the hardest part has honestly been adjusting to driving again and getting up earlier to get ready and get to work. It was nice just going downstairs and working in my pj’s all day!
But overall, it has been a really good week. You don’t realize how much you miss your co-workers and work family until you’re away from them for 2 months! I’m so thankful every single day for the job I have. I truly feel blessed and am thankful to get back to a sense of normalcy as well.
Now speaking of being home for two months… I thought I was on the “renovate and decorate” train before having just moved in to our place, but being home for two months straight made me realize one thing… I wanted to change everything lol. Or rather update everything, I should say!
I had so many ideas for how to really make our space our own, so naturally I shopped around for what it would take to do just that. I found a lot of great stuff that I loved, some new and some just ideas for how to decorate with what we already had. One place in our townhome where we spent a lot of time during the stay-at-home order was outside on the patio. I wanted to be outside as much as possible while still staying safe and secluded so I would spend most every morning and part of the afternoon working outside and enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.
So naturally, this was one of the first places I wanted to decorate and turn into a place we loved and wanted to be. We already had the table and chairs from my previous apartment, so we decided to keep those since they fit well in the space and I love the look of the mosaic tile table. (I think we’ll probably replace the chairs with comfier ones eventually, but for now these work fine for us!)
This exact mosaic tile table is from Pier 1 Imports, but it’s not available anymore, unfortunately (it was bought probably 2-3 years ago). I’m linking another mosaic tile table in a GORGEOUS blue color that reminds me of the ocean, along with a couple other similar mosaic tile tables you can check out. I’m also linking some similar red folding chairs to go along with it!
I also want to eventually get more plants, but for the time being, I figured I would focus on not killing these (as you can see by the garlic plant in the right planter, I could be doing a slight better job haha.)ย But I am happy with the plants, I think they brighten up the area and make the patio look happier and more lively! I think next, we’re going to get a few more flowering plants to throw in some more bright color for the summertime!
Lastly, we strung up these globe lights (well, Jordan did… but I stood by and directed where! Does that count??) that we now use at night when we go out onto the patio, rather than turn on the light. These are SOOOO pretty and create such a relaxing atmosphere! There’s nothing I love more than going outside at night with a glass of wine in hand and looking at the stars! It’s so relaxing and is really one of my favorite ways to wind down after a long week.
So that’s it! I hope you guys enjoyed our little patio reveal and I hope you got some inspo or items for your own patio project! Also, in case you missed our last Home Reveal where we shared our Master Bedroom and Bath, make sure to check that out as well! Thanks for reading lovelies and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Until next post, Xx.
