Hi friends! I hope everyone is looking forward to a fun weekend ahead! Jordan and I have been in full-on MOVING MODE to try and get everything packed and ready to go for our move tomorrow. ICYMI, we are finally getting out of the complex life and moving out of our townhouse. We found a rent house over in Round Rock that we absolutely LOVE and that is in a really nice, quiet neighborhood, which is much more our style and speed. So we are super excited to finally get the move on, quite literally, and officially be there!
I wanted to hop on today though to share a little wedding post. I recently finished asking all of my bridesmaids to be in my bridal party, which was SO exciting and a ton of fun! So I wanted to share how I asked them and how I put together my “bridesmaid proposal boxes” that I’ve been posting on my stories. I got quite a few questions about where I bought them and if I put them together myself or if they came the way they did, so I wanted to share exactly how I got them and what all I included inside.
The Boxes
I found these wooden boxes on Etsy and thought they were so cute! They come personalized with whoever’s name you want etched into the wood and they also come with stuffing inside. The turnaround time to get them in was about 1-2 weeks from the time of ordering, which I didn’t think was bad at all! I was initially going to do gift bags or cardboard boxes with the stuffing inside, but I decided on these because I wanted something my girls could keep and actually use, rather than just enjoy for a little while and use up.
What Went Inside
I wanted a variety of cute little things to go inside. First, I started with the card. I found these cards on Etsy as well and the owner of the shop was so sweet with letting me personalize them exactly how I wanted. They are also printed on HIGH QUALITY card stock (seriously, this stuff was THICK lol) and the envelopes they come with are very thick and made from a heavy paper as well. I also loved that the envelopes had a lining on the inside, which made for an added layer of personalization. You can also have her print the names of your bridal party members on each of the envelopes so it looks super clean and crisp!
Next I added a little mini bottle of champagne to each of the boxes. I found the champagne at Target (my fave kind is prosecco, so I went with that) and then added these little labels I found on Etsy! The owner was really nice and let me customize them exactly as I wanted, since I wanted them to read “I can’t say I do without you!” They really helped to elevate the bottles and added a cute and fun touch, in my opinion!
Next, I found these cute wedding cake candles on Etsy (if you can’t tell, Etsy has been my best friend for all things wedding-themed so far haha!)ย I actually ordered them for my girls and then ended up going back and ordering a couple more to put around the house and burn because they smelled so good! (Anyone else obsessed with candles that smell like food?? They are pretty much the only type of candles I will buy lol) I also obviously loved that they were wedding themed and thought they added a fun touch to the box.
Next I added these fun little nail polish colors from Olive & June! They are a brand that sent me some nail colors earlier this summer and I loved the brand and pigments so much, I had to include them in my bridesmaid boxes! I thought the pastel colors were so pretty and chose them for my girls based on which one I thought they would like and wear the most.
Lastly, I added these cute little glitter bath bombs! I found them on Etsy (big surprise, haha) and loved the way they looked! I thought they would be the perfect last thing to add to the box (also, I shot the photos before I decided on these, which is why they aren’t pictured like the other items.) The shop owner was so sweet and even threw in the little mesh bag and ribbon for free with each bath bomb. I got white bath bombs with white sparkly glitter, but you can also get different colors of bath bombs as well and you also have the option to get them without glitter, if it’s not your thing.
I put them all together and distributed them to my girls as I saw them throughout the month of July (except one I ended up having to mail to one of my besties!) I’ve been planning these for a while and was so excited with how they came together. My main hope was that my friends really liked them and felt special because they honestly mean the world to me!
Thanks so much for reading lovelies and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Wish us luck on the moving process tomorrow as I’m sure we’ll need it and I can’t wait to share more wedding AND house stuff with you guys coming soon. If you missed it, check out my most recent posts, “Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021” and “Life Update – We’re Engaged!!“
Happy Friday! Xx.

What a beautiful and considerate bridesmaid proposal box! I love all of the personalized items you were able to get from Etsy. Etsy was definitely my best friend while I was planning and prepping for my wedding as well. You can find everything on there! I love how these turned out ๐
