Spring has officially sprung! This past Saturday marked the first official day of spring this year so I figured it was time to give our house a refresh from red and white hearts I still had up from February. I LOVE spring decor and always feel like it really brightens up our home and makes the whole house feel cheery.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I love to decorate for pretty much every single season. It’s taken me a while to accumulate all of the decor items I have, but everything I do have, I’m happy with and love that I can use it year after year and only have to change up a few things to keep it new and exciting.
To start off, I wanted to decorate our entry way and give it a good spruce. We didn’t really have anything here to start with, so this was probably the biggest task to tackle. I bought the bench back at the very beginning of the year and started slowly adding the other things to compliment it. I still have plans to add some wicker baskets to the cubby holes so we can keep our shoes and things in there and they won’t show, but I just haven’t got around to buying them quite yet.
I also LOVE this clock artwork to fill the space on the wall! I say clock artwork, because it doesn’t actually have a clock mechanism in it, which works for me because I can’t stand to hear a clock ticking haha. I can’t find this exact one online, but here’s a similar one that is actually a working clock!
Our dining table is also always a focal point for the decor. I love to put things together on the table and really have it be an eye-catching part of the room. This year for spring, I kept things simple with adding a simple centerpiece sign and some yellow napkins and place settings. I found these gold rimmed plates as well and had to get them! I feel like they add a subtle shine to the table and go well with the yellow and neutral colors.
I also love this table runner for the design and color! I certainly get my use out of it because I normally use this for spring decor, summer decor and fall decor! I got the 48 inch table runner because I didn’t want it to go all the way to the ends. I like it, but might also order a longer one at some point to change it up and extend to the ends of the table.
Lastly, always change out our throw pillows on the couches for each season/holiday. It’s such an easy way to help transform a room and update decor, not to mention it’s inexpensive! I found these yellow throw pillow covers on Amazon for under $15! I always use these pillow inserts too for my color/accent pillows because they’re down and you can get a nice pillow chop at the top, which I think is cute!
I also picked up this planter with faux yellow flowers, which I thought added a bright, spring-time feel to the room!
Thanks for reading lovelies! I hope this gave you some ideas for some fun, cheery ways to brighten up your home with some spring decor. Everything is linked below!

I think my favorite part of this spring refresh were those two pillows – no, not the yellow ones, the ones with tails 😉 Haha! But really, I love everything you picked out. It’s so bright and cheery and perfect for this season!
I love how injecting some brighter pops of color transforms a space. Everything looks great! xoxo, Sarah
