July Monthly Favorites

Happy AUGUST you guys!! It’s hard to believe August is upon us! School will be starting up soon, followed by the “ber” months and fall fashion, etc. I say it probably way too often, but this year really has flown by.

I know this isn’t actually the first Thursday of the month of August, since the first Thursday was on the 1st of August last week, but I wanted to be sure that all sales were in before I made the Monthly Favorites blog post so I could ensure it was accurate. So here were the top 5 most sold items during the month of July:

Vintage V-Neck Wrap Midi Dress

When I first found this dress, I was a little hesitant to buy it because of the reviews. They weren’t super great and it wasn’t a popular item on Amazon, but I wanted a midi dress for a blog post and loved the way this one looked. I’m so glad I ended up buying it! It turned out being super cute and fit me perfectly. I wore it in this blog post and have also worn it out a couple of other times as well! I especially love it as a wrap dress to wear to the beach or out and about on a casual shopping day. I am normally a size small, but I bought the second size they offer (4/6) and it fits perfectly! It’s also only $10.99, so that is definitely a good selling point!

Wide Brim Straw Fedora Hat

This hat was one of my personal favorite purchases on Amazon during the month of July! I have gotten so much wear out of it and so many people have asked me where I bought it. It’s a $15 Amazon Prime find and was the perfect accessory for the summer months. I still pair it with shorts and a tank to jazz up a casual weekend outfit! It comes in over 30 different color/texture combinations so you have a variety to choose from to make sure you get one you like. I bought the Beige color and find that I can wear it with pretty much any outfit I want! It’s also adjustable on the inside, so you can make sure you get the right fit. Wink Graphic Tee

This little tee has been such a fun one to have and wear around when I am lounging around the house or running errands on the weekend. Let’s face it, sometimes I am just not feeling like dressing up and looking like a “blogger” with my makeup perfect, hair done, etc. This is a cute and casual graphic tee that can be worn with a messy bun and denim shorts if you want a casual, comfy tee for the day, or can be dressed up and made to look sassy like I did in this blog post! This little tee is only $10.99 so it’s definitely a steal and the material is super stretchy and feels very high quality. I normally wear a size small in t-shirts, but I decided to size up to a size medium this time for a bit of a looser fit.

Black+Decker Cordless Dustbuster Hand Vacuum

This was one of my Prime Day purchases that I had my eye on for a while. I actually had had it saved in my Amazon shopping wish list for about 4-5 months before I bought it! It was only on sale about $7 off, but a sale is a sale right?! Plus, I already knew I wanted it and had been watching it for a few months, so I figured it was the perfect time to buy. I’ve gotten so much use out of it so far and I’ve only had it for a few weeks! I use it mostly for cleaning the cat hair off my bed and for cleaning up the food they spill around their little eating areas. It’s a lot more convenient to just pull this out and clean up a quick spill, rather than pulling out my regular vacuum just to clean a little spot. It’s only $34.99 with and is included with Prime shipping!

Custom Name Necklace

Lastly, you guys seemed to love this name necklace I’ve been wearing and I have to agree! It’s so dang cute and something I can wear everyday and layer with other necklaces as well, like you can see in this blog post. I chose the font 62 (not listed), which is the Carrie Font like the Carrie Bradshaw necklace she wears in Sex and the City. The owner of the shop is super nice and will even do a mock-up of all the available fonts with your name so you can see how they would all look before you choose.
