Happy Monday lovelies! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Jordan and I stayed around the house of course and spent the majority of the weekend playing catch-up cleaning up around the apartment and trying to get some things ready for the week. It was actually a really productive weekend! I love weekends where I get stuff done. It makes me feel more prepared for the week and leaves me feeling like I accomplished something over the weekend!
This past Saturday, I did a little try-on haul over on my Instagram stories with some stuff I got in from Lulu’s last week. I know we’re not able to go out right now and really show off our new spring stuff, but it makes me happy to shop for bright, new clothes and look forward to when we are able to go out and show them off. I was really happy with the stuff I bought and the response from everyone seemed positive too, so I would say it was a successful haul!
Since stories only stay on Insta for 24 hours and they are gone by now, I wanted to post the haul here on the blog a) in case there was someone who didn’t see the haul and b) so you have another place to see the pieces together now that the stories are gone. You can also always find all of my recent outfits I post to Instagram on my Shop page and you can find ANY outfit I’ve ever posted and linked on my LiketoKnow. It page!
Okay, let’s get started!
1. White Ruffle Bodysuit and Leopard-Print Loafers
This was probably my favorite find that I bought! I love bodysuits because they look so clean and crisp and you never have to worry about your shirt coming up or untucking. This one has a semi-square neckline and ruffle-strap detail, which I thought was really cute for spring. It also isn’t see-through, which is a HUGE bonus! I got a size small and I feel like it’s true to size.
I also bought these leopard-print loafers, which are SO cute. I actually included them in my Spring Shoe Roundup the other week and thought they were so cute, I had to get them for myself! I love them with shorts, but I really can’t wait to wear them with jeans and a cute top when I head back to work! I bought a size 8 (my normal shoe size is size 7.5/8).
2. Sage Gingham Print Skort
Next, I bought this sage-colored, gingham print skort. It is SO adorable and I’m absolutely in love with the green color, but I did make a mistake with one thing… If you watched my try-on haul on my stories the other day, you’ll remember I mentioned I bought the wrong size. I always buy a small in tops and a medium in bottoms, but I’m not sure what I was thinking when I bought these. I think I got to going too fast and just clicked size small for everything, because I ordered this in a small, but I VERY clearly needed a medium. (What you don’t see/hear pictured here is the zipper not actually zipped up in the back and my thighs screaming at me for shoving them into a size too small hahah.)
My final thoughts on this: it’s so dang adorable and I love it for spring. Get your true size or size up if you’re in-between sizes! I’ll be sending it back and exchanging it for a medium.
3. Green Striped Button-Down
Last but not least, I bought this striped green button down shirt. I bought this because I wanted another top I could wear to work. (Anyone else always feel like they wear the same dang thing to work everyday?!) I wanted some more nice spring clothes to wear to the office and this seemed like the perfect top. I am SO glad I got it because I actually ended up LOVING this almost more than anything else I bought!
If you live in TX, you know summer heat is a REAL THING. It kinda feels like you’re going to burst into flames when you walk out the door. No lie. This top is SO light and the material is super thin and cool. I wore it all day Saturday even when J and I were sitting out on the balcony in the sun and I didn’t get hot at all! I’m really glad I got this and I love that you can wear it with shorts to dress it down or dress it up and wear it to work. I bought a size small and it has an oversized look!
So that’s it friends! I hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading. Which outfit was your favorite??
I hope you all have a wonderful week and until the next post, Xx.

Super cute finds! Waiting for warmer days to break out all the denim shorts, xoxo Sarah
That button-up top is definitely my favorite piece you picked up. It’s so versatile and the color in it is great! I reach for a lot of greens in the summer, so it’s definitely something that appeals to me. Your pieces are great. You have such good taste! I hope you’re able to exchange that skort for a size up so you can be comfy when you wear it!
Awww thanks so much! I hope so too, it’s SO cute I really can’t wait to wear it! I love greens in the summer too, they always seem like such a bright color option to me! Xx.
