Here we are, half-way through October and the weather is finally starting to be as it should in the FALL SEASON!! Time for late-afternoon walks in the cool weather, enjoying coffee on the patio at cafes, and actually getting to run and exercise outside without feeling like the sun is going to strike me down with its vicious heat rays. I don’t know about you, but I MUCH prefer to run and exercise outside rather than inside, but I never want to in the Texas heat. However, since this lovely time of the year has finally started and I can start up my evening jogs around the park again, I wanted to share some workout attire I would recommend to prep yourself for workouts in the cooler weather.
Running tops like this long-sleeved turtleneck from H&M are my favorite type to wear to workout because they are long-sleeved, so I feel covered and it keeps the wind off me, but since they are made for running and working out, the material is light and breathable, so I don’t feel hot and sweaty during the workout. I paired it with my favorite pair of workout tights from Victoria Secret Sport that I always love to wear to workout, because they keep the sweat at bay and are really great about moving with you! I also love them because they are high-waisted so I feel like I’m all held together and nothing jiggles around while I’m running! 😜 Finally, I tie the whole ensemble together with my Nike running shoes. I personally love these shoes for running and training workouts! They are super comfortable and have a ton of arch support, so my feet never feel like they are sore while I’m trying to workout.
I hope you guys enjoy these workout attire items as much as I do and enjoy the finally-here-after-it-seems-like-forever COOLER WEATHER!!!!
