Hi friends!
I hope you guys all had a fabulous weekend and are having an even more fabulous week start to your week! Jordan and I escaped the humidity this weekend and went to Fort Worth with his sister to visit their dad and family up there. 🙂 Let me tell you I LOVE Fort Worth! Between gorging myself on Banana Nutella Belgian Waffles at Brewed and handmade pizza at Thirteen Pies, it’s needless to say I need to do something to workout this week.
However, it’s not always easy to get to the gym, especially when you work 7-5 everyday! Honestly when I get home, all I want to do is lounge on the couch with a big plate of dinns and watch Netflix. Even with my apartment complex having a workout room, it’s still small and often cramped when multiple people are in there at once (and no one likes to be cramped while they’re gross and sweaty and trying to workout. NOPE.)
So here are the exercises I like to do (especially after a weekend when I have eaten like a baby dinosaur) to help burn fat in my tummy area and get my abs showing again!
*I am in no way a fitness expert, nor do I claim to try to be. These are all exercises that I personally find helpful and that work well for me.*
Workout:
250 steps on mini stair stepper
Stretch
10 crunches
10 cross-crunches
10 weighted oblique twists (I use a 10-15 lbs weight)
10 lower leg lifts
10 ab bridges with slider disc (not sure if this is the correct name for the exercise, but it’s what I call them)
*Start in a push-up position with both feet on one of the slider discs. Do a “crunch” motion and create an upside down “V” with your body by sliding in your feet as close as you can to your hands, while keeping your legs straight. Move them back out to the push-up position. This completes 1 ab bridge!*
10 weighted standing side-crunches (10 for each side and I use a 15 lb weight)
Repeat one more time!

And that’s it! It might look like a little much, but it passes really quickly, especially since I usually do it in front of the TV (gotta love home workouts!😂)
I’ve included links below to the equipment I use during the workout. I got it all from Walmart, because the mini stair stepper and the weights are actually WAYYY cheaper there than on Amazon and I just wanted to get everything at once!
