Happy Monday friends! It’s back to work for me this week and MAN is it a struggle to go back to work after a holiday break. I’m already on my second cup of Joe for the day and it’s barely even begun!
I wanted to hop on and share a post with you guys today that highlighted my holiday decor, now that it’s finally socially acceptable to decorate for Christmas haha (even though I’ve had my decorations up for literally a month now!) I mostly added on to things I already had from last year and a couple of things I had bought for my fall decor this year! I love adding on to things and making the decorations really flow throughout the seasons, so I’m happy with how everything turned out this year.
Everything is linked in this post to make it easy to shop the decor and anything you see that you like! If you have any questions at all, please feel free to message me and ask!
I went with the classic color scheme of red and gold this year, but I also added in some burlap detail to give it a bit of a shabby/chic kind of look. I also kept a little bit of the black and white plaid I had for my fall decor this year, so I felt like the burlap really helped to tie that in to the mix.
Also, a lot of things I also made myself, but linked similar items so you guys could shop them! I did do a post last week over how to make your own DIY $14 Christmas Wreath exactly like the one in the pics above on my front door, if you want to check it out and give it a try for yourself!
The dining room table was one of my FAVORITE parts of my fall decor, so I wanted to make sure I did it justice with the Christmas decor as well! I am so happy with the way it turned out; I wanted to keep the black and white plaid and add in little pops of red to give it a Christmasy-feel. I love how it turned out and think it really is such a focal point in the apartment.
Last is this little nook right when you walk in the door. I wanted to feel warm and Christmasy immediately upon walking into my apartment and I think this little nook did a perfect job of achieving that. It’s cute, Christmasy and doesn’t take up too much space, so if you’re trying to decorate for a small space or little corner, this is perfect.
Aaaaand that’s it!! Thanks for reading friends! I hope you enjoyed seeing my holiday decor because I sure did enjoy putting it up! I’m generally adding to it all season long, so make sure to follow me on Instagram, as that is where I always share any additions to my holiday decor.
Happy Holidays lovelies! Xx.
