Happy Saturday friends! I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their weekend. I personally love every weekend that I get to relax and take a breather from work, but spring weekends hold a special place in my heart. I love being outside period. I love walking around and getting fresh air and feeling the sun on my skin. I especially love being outside in spring, because the air is warm, but not hot and everything is colorful and bright and just happy.
I feel like weekends in spring should be spent outside, walking around a park, admiring the flowers budding and critters buzzing about. They should be spent outside, walking up and down the main street of a small town, ducking in and out of shops to take a break and cool off in the A/C before heading back out to mosey about. Or maybe spent outside, catching up with old friends while sitting at shaded picnic tables, eating drippy snow-cones and feeling the breeze. However you choose to spend your spring weekends, I always think they should be spent outdoors, enjoying the season and taking time to decompress.
This simple, spring outfit I put together is something I would normally wear on a spring weekend, when I’m spending the day outside, hanging out with Jordan or shopping at the outlet mall. It’s simple, yet cute and super comfortable so I can wear it all day and be happy.
Fun fact: This was the first bodysuit I had ever purchased! I never thought they would be comfortable so I didn’t want to buy one. MAN was I wrong! It is one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing I own (you can’t beat American Eagle for their soft and comfy clothes, right?!) and I think it is just so cute! I love the polka dots and that the straps are bows.
I paired it with my favorite pair of high-waisted mom shorts and some white platform sneaks. You can also add other white accessories if you want to add some more accent pops! I think a white belt would be cute to bring out some more pops of white in the outfit.
